Declo, ID - May 4th through 8th, 2026
Five full days of instruction with lectures, demos, painting, and personal critiques. Daily sessions run 9am–4pm with optional evening studio time (7–10pm). Thursday offers optional outdoor painting after the lecture.
Workshop Tuition: $1,100 total
Registration Deposit: $600 (reserves your spot)
Final Payment: $500 (due upon arrival at the workshop)

A FUN & INTENSE LEARNING EXPERIENCE!
Robert Moore has been painting for over forty years and teaching for over thirty, and he is excited to share his knowledge with you. His workshops offer students greater confidence in their ability to make a strong painting.
What we'll learn
Students learn to simplify and organize their compositions using correct value and harmonious color within dynamic shapes.
How we'll learn
Students engage in five intensive days of lecture/classroom instruction, painting, personal critiques, and demonstrations. Four additional professional artists will be in attendance, assisting students with application of taught principles.
Where we'll study
Robert's studio is in rural Declo, Idaho. The studio is comfortably spacious and beautiful plein air locations are nearby. Studio is open to students through 10pm each evening.
